Under Eye Filling

Under-eye filling is a procedure applied without surgical intervention for dark circles, bruises and collapsed under-eyes. Developed as a treatment method for such complaints in the under-eye area, under-eye filling is a treatment that covers all ages. With this method, which does not require hospitalisation or surgery, the desired result is achieved in a short time.

Everyone has a tear trough or tear trough. However, if this trough is more sunken or deeper than normal, this appearance makes the person look tired and older than he/she is. The content of the under-eye filler, which has a different form than the fillers made in the face area, nourishes the under-eye skin and increases the moisture level.

How is Under Eye Filling Performed?
It depends on the depth of the person's under-eye groove. Usually 1cc volume filling is sufficient here.  Overdose application causes a puffy appearance in that part.  This is called the tindal effect. And it is an undesirable result. Therefore, it is inconvenient to make more correction in this area than necessary. Instead of this correction, an additional dose is applied for 2 weeks later. The filler used in this area is very thin and therefore its permanence is shorter.

Under-eye filler application is placed in the deepest part of the bone cavity in the under-eye area.  Cannula or needle is applied. When cannulated, there is no bruising and swelling, but the filling may not be placed deep. Filling is placed directly on the bone with a needle, but swelling and bruising may occur in this way. The under-eye filling procedure, which requires expertise, takes 20 minutes and is painless.
Before the application, topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area under the eye and the area becomes numb. When the under-eye area is completely numb, it is cleaned and the personalised filler is placed under the skin with a needle or needle-free cannula. The doctor decides the amount of filler applied.

What is the Duration of Under Eye Filling?
The duration of under-eye filling is usually between 11 and 18 months. This period varies depending on the person. The factors affecting the duration of under-eye filling permanence are the collapse under the eye and the amount of filler used.
